Installing

Before installing your TankSmart® monitoring device, selecting the right operating environment is a key consideration. To ensure your device reaches maximum data transmissions, all devices should be deployed with a full, unobstructed view of the sky in each direction. Physical obstacles such as large trees, overhanging structures or high walls can interfere with radio frequencies, and degrade system performance.

 

Initial Setup

  1. Unbox & Power On: Remove the Agbot™ device from the packaging. Your device ships pre-configured and powered – there is no battery installation required.
     
  2. Activate via the Agbot™ App: Open the Agbot™ app on your desired smartphone. Follow the prompts to register the hardware to your property profile instantly by simply tapping your NFC-enabled phone against the device casing, or by scanning the QR code.
     
  3. Mount to the tank: For this part, you will need a drill and screws. Securely attach the mounting bracket to the rim, or top of your water tank. Lower the specialised liquid level sensor cable through an access point to your desired depth.
     
  4. Calibrate & Confirm: Input your specific tank dimensions directly into the Agbot™ app. The monitor will calculate your current storage volume, and transmit its initial live reading within a few minutes.
