As the CEO of Bushmans, I have been dedicated to leading the business with a clear focus on quality, service, and sustainable growth. Since purchasing the company in 2009, I have guided Bushmans first as an owner, and more recently as CEO, ensuring we continue to build on our strong foundations while expanding our capabilities and reach. My role is centred on steering the organisation strategically while upholding the values that define Bushmans. This includes ensuring our products remain of the highest quality, our service to customers is unmatched in the market, and our suppliers deliver exceptional products and support. Equally important is fostering a workplace where our staff feel fulfilled in their roles and are safe at all times. Over the past 17 years, Bushmans has experienced continuous development - an evolution that has driven significant success and positioned us strongly for the future. The platform we have built enables us to keep growing while consistently providing outstanding products and service to our customers.

Shane has dedicated over 17 years to the business, beginning in frontline sales before moving through roles in operations, business development, and senior management. This journey has provided him with a strong foundation across all areas of the organisation and a deep understanding of the industry it serves. His career progression reflects both hard work and a genuine passion for the business, its people, and its customers. To complement his practical experience, Shane completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2022, enhancing his skills in strategy, leadership, and financial management. These capabilities have allowed him to lead with clarity while driving growth and innovation. Shane is also committed to developing future leaders. Through initiatives such as The CEO Institute – The Leadership Program, he has worked to build leadership capability within the business, ensuring teams are aligned, empowered, and equipped to succeed. Grounded in customer-first values, Shane’s leadership has been shaped by a focus on safety, trust, and performance. Today, he continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening brand reputation, building capability, and positioning the business for long-term success.

I’m the Head of Marketing at Bushmans Tanks, responsible for leading marketing strategy across all facilities and overseeing the full spectrum of marketing and sales functions. I’m a bit of a jack of all trades, with a passion for analytics, data-driven decision making, paid advertising, graphic design, video production, and website development and management.

I’m responsible for leading production across our poly manufacturing sites, ensuring our operations are safe, reliable, and continuously improving. I’m passionate about strengthening processes, building skilled teams, and delivering high-quality products that align with our company’s goals. I also work across the business to develop and introduce new poly products, supporting innovation from design through to manufacture.

I’m Shane McCarty, State Manager for Victoria, where I oversee our operations alongside a team of around 22 dedicated staff. My focus is on delivering exceptional customer service to our clients while building strong relationships with our Victorian distributors. I believe in a leadership style that empowers people, encouraging a “can-do” attitude across the team as we strive to improve every day.

I’m Ray Agland, State Manager for New South Wales. I’ve proudly been part of Bushmans for over 10 years, leading our operations and supporting customers across the state. My role involves overseeing sales, distribution, and customer service, with a focus on building strong relationships with both our team and our valued resellers. What I enjoy most is the variety, every day presents new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.

I’m Marina Thompson, Branch Manager for Southern Queensland at Bushmans Tanks. I’ve been with the company for over 36 years and have seen first-hand how much the business and the water industry have evolved. My role is focused on supporting our team, managing operations, and ensuring our customers always receive outstanding service.

As State Manager for South Australia, I lead Bushmans’ operations across the state, working closely with our team to deliver quality water storage solutions and reliable service. My focus is on people, safety, and performance, ensuring we deliver outcomes that support both customers and communities.

I’m Renee Fitchett, Branch Manager for Bushmans in North Queensland, based in Innisfail. Our branch services a vast region, from the coast to the NT border and right up to the tip of Australia.
