Production Manager
About the Role
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Innisfail production facility, leading a dedicated team to ensure that production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with other departments, you will help deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement across all areas. This hands-on leadership role requires a balance of technical expertise, organisational strength, and effective people management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and manage the production team to meet output, quality, and safety targets.
- Ensure the production facility remains fully operational, addressing any issues that could impact efficiency, quality, or safety.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain compliance with company standards and health & safety regulations.
- Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements
- Strong mechanical or technical understanding, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment (roto moulding experience highly regarded).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.

Truck Driver/ Customer Care Positions
Status: Multiple Positions Available
Purpose of the Role
Bushmans in Orange are seeking a CASUAL and FULL TIME truck driver to join our EXPANDING team! This role may lead to a permanent position to the right applicant. This role is 3-5 days a week and the main duty of this role is to deliver rainwater tanks throughout NSW and interstate as required. The role may include occasional weekend deliveries and may require you to be away overnight (with reimbursement).
To be successful in this role you must have HC License desirable with minimum of MR License, and Forklift Ticket.
A prior knowledge of excess dimensional transport is advantageous, full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

Factory Operator Positions

INNISFAIL
Purpose of the Role
Both CASUAL and FULL TIME positions are available to join our EXPANDING manufacturing team in our facility in Innisfail QLD. Applicants must be able to work 3-5 days a flexible week in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Some of the main tasks include operation of factory ovens, quality control procedures and manual handling.
The right person will have a forklift license (essential), physical fitness, and previous experience in a manufacturing environment although not imperative.
On the job training will be provided and the role may include night shift work.

TERANG – VIC

CAVAN – SA
WHS & Quality Manager
About the Role
The ideal candidate is a person who has experience in work health and safety in a manufacturing environment. This person must have experience in developing work procedures and risk assessments in consultation with stakeholders. The ideal candidate would have to demonstrate their ability to work well in a team and have very good communication and computer skills.
This role will also involve quality assurance and maintaining the quality systems. This will involve ensuring that policies and procedures are reviewed and maintained, and support the quality audits process.
The candidate must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen. Formal qualifications in WHS will be required. Ideally this would be a Diploma level, but a Certificate IV would also be considered.
The position is full-time and based in our Cavan SA office, however there will be occasional travel requirements to the other Bushmans locations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the WHS program and culture. This includes incident investigation and implementation of preventative actions.
- Establish and reporting on WHS and quality targets.
- Develop, review, and implement policies, procedures, and risk management documents.
- Review and ensure WHS activities are completed according to WHS legislation.
- Develop and coordinate training materials as well as ensuring records are maintained.
- Conduct audits and monitor the internal audit program. Ensure corrective actions are being completed.
- Support the sites ensuring compliance with the national heavy vehicle regulation.
- Lead the Australian Standards certification process and the internal/external audit program.
- Identify quality issues and support the sites to improve processes, ensuring high quality product.
Key Requirements
- Formal qualifications in WHS (Ideally Diploma level, but Certificate IV would also be considered).
- Comprehensive understanding of workplace safety legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Commitment to continuous learning to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in workplace safety.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
