Truck Driver/ Customer Care Positions (ORANGE)

Status: Multiple Positions Available

 Purpose of the Role

Bushmans in Orange are seeking a CASUAL and FULL TIME truck driver to join our EXPANDING team! This role may lead to a permanent position to the right applicant. This role is 3-5 days a week and the main duty of this role is to deliver rainwater tanks throughout NSW and interstate as required. The role may include occasional weekend deliveries and may require you to be away overnight (with reimbursement).

To be successful in this role you must have HC License desirable with minimum of MR License, and Forklift Ticket.

A prior knowledge of excess dimensional transport is advantageous, full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

VICTORIA

Truck Driver/ Customer Care Positions (TERANG)
Status: Position Available

Purpose of the Role

Bushmans in Terang are seeking a CASUAL and FULL TIME truck driver to join our EXPANDING team! This role may lead to a permanent position to the right applicant. This role is 3-5 days a week and the main duty of this role is to deliver rainwater tanks throughout VIC and interstate as required. The role may include occasional weekend deliveries and may require you to be away overnight (with reimbursement).

QUEENSLAND

Welder – Bushmans Tanks, Aqualine steel tank division (DALBY)
Status: Position Available

Purpose of the Role

Due to current growth within our Dalby based Aqualine steel tank division a welder’s position has become available within our manufacturing facility. This is a rapidly expanding part of our business. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment with a high regard for safety and quality.

Tasks include but not limited to:

  • Measuring and Cutting steel
  • Fabrication and welding of new steel components.
  • Be competent in reading manufacturing drawings.
  • Be competent in MIG welding.
  • Be able to work unsupervised in the workshop
  • Completing daily production paperwork
  • Housekeeping of work areas

 To be considered, you need to show:

  • Competence in MIG welding
  • That they are Physically fit for the role
  • Be able to follow and commit to all health and safety requirements.
  • Have a proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Current Forklift license is essential.
  • Current manual car drivers license (Medium rigid desirable)
  • Must be able to pass random drug and alcohol testing as required.

MR truck driver/Labourer – Bushmans Group, Aqualine steel tank division (DALBY)
Status: Position Available

Purpose of the Role

Our Aqualine steel tank division require a Medium Rigid truck driver/labourer within our manufacturing facility in Dalby QLD. This is a rapidly expanding part of our business. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment with a high regard for safety and quality. This position is solely for the steel tank division only.

Daily tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Safe operation of a Medium rigid truck consisting of day trips (Picking up and dropping off steel tank components to suppliers for processing)
  • Safe operation of forklifts (High Risk forklift ticket is required)
  • Safe operation of a light vehicle.

The below tasks will be available when the truck operation is not required:

  • General labourer duties.
  • Assist with operation of PLC form roller. (On the job training is supplied)
  • Assist with kit packaging for transport (On the job training is supplied)
  • Housekeeping of work area and truck.
  • Completion of daily paperwork.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate and currently hold the below:

  • Have a proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Be able to follow direction.
  • Be able to follow and commit to all health and safety requirements.
  • Be able to deliver quality outcomes at a high standard.
  • High Risk Forklift license is essential.
  • Be able to pass random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Hold a Current and valid Medium Rigid driver’s license and be a competent operator.
  • Be familiar with load restraint requirements.
  • Chain of responsibility training will be advantageous but not essential.

On the job training and upskilling will be provided for all aspects of the role.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Transport & Logistics Manager  (CAVAN)

Status: Available

Purpose of the Role

We currently have a opportunity for a Logistics/Customer Care Manager to join our team based in Cavan S.A. You will be managing a small fleet and drivers and scheduling deliveries for the Adelaide/SA region. You will have assistance in the administration duties to carry out the Bushmans delivery processes in a safe and efficient manner. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, full training will be provided

QUEENSLAND

WHS and Quality Manager – (DALBY)
Status: Open position

Purpose of the Role

This role will support all work health and safety as well as quality assurance activities across our 6 manufacturing locations.

The ideal candidate is a person who has experience in work health and safety in a manufacturing environment. This person must have experience in developing work procedures and risk assessments in consultation with stakeholders. The ideal candidate would have to demonstrate their ability to work well in a team and have very good communication and computer skills.

This role will also involve quality assurance and maintaining the quality systems. This will involve ensuring that policies and procedures are reviewed and maintained, and supporting quality audits.

The candidate must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen. Formal qualifications in WHS will be required. Ideally this would be a Diploma level, but a Certificate IV would also be considered.

The position is full-time and based in our Dalby QLD office, however there will be occasional travel requirements to the other Bushmans locations.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Lead the WHS program and culture.
  • Establish and reporting on WHS and quality targets.
  • Develop, review, and implement policies, procedures, and risk management documents.
  • Review and ensure WHS activities are completed according to WHS legislation.
  • Develop and coordinate training materials as well as ensuring records are maintained.
  • Conduct audits and monitor the internal audit program. Ensure corrective actions are being completed.
  • Support the sites ensuring compliance with the national heavy vehicle regulation.
  • Lead the Australian Standards certification process and the internal/external audit program.
  • Identify quality issues and support the sites to improve processes, ensuring high quality product.

Key Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in WHS (Ideally Diploma level, but Certificate IV would also be considered).
  • Comprehensive understanding of workplace safety legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Commitment to continuous learning to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in workplace safety.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Trainee Design Draftsperson – (DALBY)
Status: Open position

Purpose of the Role

Our company is now looking to provide an opportunity for the right person to join our team in a Trainee Design Draftsperson position. A traineeship is available for the ideal candidate for Certificate III in Engineering – Technical.

The ideal candidate is a person who during school did trade or technology and design subjects. There is a requirement for attention to detail, capable of using measurement devices and strong computer skills. Experience in CAD drafting and an understanding of sheetmetal fabrication principles would be advantageous but not essential. The role will involve 3D product and equipment design using Solidworks our computer aid design software.

The candidate must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen to qualify for a traineeship. To undertake a traineeship, sound achievement in Maths and English or equivalent is required.

Bushmans will support the candidate through a Certificate III design traineeship along with training in Solidworks 3D drafting systems.

The position is full-time and located in our Dalby QLD office.

Key responsibilities: 

  • CAD designs for new product development.
  • CAD modeling of our existing poly and steel tank range, as well as tooling and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Product sales and assembly drawings.
  • Manufacture drawings for new and existing tooling and equipment.
  • Maintaining our drawing library ensuring version control and traceability.
  • Measurements and verification of physical products, tooling, and equipment.
  • Generate site layouts for efficient positioning of equipment.
  • Reviewing Australian Standards and ISO Standards for design criteria.

Water tank Installer – Contractor
Status: Multiple Positions Available

Purpose of the Role

Due to the growth of our Aqualine Steel Liner Tank range, we are providing the opportunity for a suitable contractor to install our tanks throughout North Queensland.

The Contractor will conduct and complete installation of the Aqualine Water Tanks to a standard outlined in the Bushmans installation manual and comply with all procedures for installation

Aqualine steel water tanks are built tough from high quality materials and are a great solution for storing large amounts of water. Aqualine steel tanks are designed to handle the harsh Australian weather and they’re built using galvanised and Colorbond steel for hassle free water storage and longevity! Checkout our short video of an onsite build below.

This opportunity will suit someone who likes to get outdoors, travel, work with tools, and has excellent customer service skills. Previous tank building experience is not a requirement as full training is provided.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Liaise with customers to confirm scheduled install dates.
  • Transport kits to the installation location
  • Construct storage tanks to company and customer specifications
  • Ensure relevant tools, materials, additional accessories, and extra components are on site for installation
  • Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Perform quality inspections on completed products
  • Ensure all paperwork is complete and returned
