50% Rebate with Bushmans & On Farm Connectivity Rebate Program

The On Farm Connectivity Program implemented by the Australian Government is allocating $30 million from 2023-24 and 2024-25 to empower primary producers engaged in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. This initiative aims to facilitate the adoption of connected machinery and sensor technology within these sectors.

This program aims to revolutionise the operational landscape for primary producers, fostering efficiency, sustainability, and growth within the agricultural, forestry, and fisheries industries. As a recognised equipment supplier for the program, Bushmans is excited to announce our participation.

From now until May 31, 2024, our new TankSmart® water tanks and TankSmart® 2” fertiliser tanks can be purchased for 50% of their price by eligible primary producers who are approved by the government. Also, as a part of the program, eligible primary producers only have to pay 50% and the government pays the other 50%, which means there’s no waiting to be reimbursed.

Grants available

The Australian Government has announced a total of $30 million for the On Farm Connectivity Rebate Program. For Round 1 of the grant (rebate) opportunity, $15 million is available in 2023-24, or until funding is exhausted, whichever occurs first.

The grant (rebate) amount will be up to 50 percent of the cost of eligible equipment, Bushmans TankSmart® water tanks and TankSmart® 2 fertiliser tanks are eligible equipment.

  • The minimum grant (rebate) amount is $3,000.
  • The maximum grant (rebate) amount is $30,000.

As the minimum rebate amount is $3,000 the minimum purchase amount is $6,000 and because the maximum rebate amount is $30,000 the maximum purchase amount is $60,000. Any further spend is the responsibility of the primary producer.

View the eligible TankSmart® tank price list here. Please note delivery is included within 500kms of your local Bushmans facility. However, oversize/escort fees may be required depending on delivery location. There may be additional delivery fees outside the 500km radius.

Program guidelines

  • Bushmans, as an eligible equipment supplier, can claim up to the maximum rebate amount for each eligible primary producer with an ABN.
  • Equipment suppliers are able to claim more than one rebate where the eligible Primary producer has multiple properties with a separate ABN for each primary production property.
  • The eligible primary producer is responsible for any remaining eligible and ineligible costs above the rebate amount, and these costs cannot be funded from existing Commonwealth, state, territory, and local government grants.
  • View the guidelines here: On Farm Connectivity Program Guidelines.

Eligible primary producers will have their applications reviewed and submitted by Bushmans. Once we complete the first part of the claim, the primary producer will be invited by the government to complete a small section on the government portal.
